Shauna Liora: Founder/ Professional Guide / Fun Maker

Shauna has been introducing people to the joys of discovering the outdoors for over 20 years.  As a Professional Hiking Guide, and founder of Her Second Nature, her aim is to help women get outside and connect with nature.   Shauna has explored much of the Rocky Mountains through hiking, backpacking, skiing and paddling as a river guide.  She is absolutely passionate about creating experiences that help people gain confidence to try new adventures in the outdoors as she is familiar with the mental barriers that hold people back. Her past experience includes 9 years with Search and Rescue as Team Leader, Search Manager and Instructor and 3 years with Canada Task Force 2.  She  is certified as a professional hiking guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and Interpretive Guides Association and is Wilderness First Aid certified.  Having worked for Alberta Parks for 9 years Shauna knows the best places to go for the for each season and ability of each group she guides.

Shauna resides in Cochrane, Alberta and loves to capture her adventures through photography and art.  Her past adventures have included travelling to 28 countries but her favorite place is in her backyard, the Rocky Mountains. Her aim is to inspire others to discover what it means to live life to the fullest and connect with the outdoors, our place.

Lisa Coyne: Life Coach / Miss Motivator

Lisa moved to Canada from the United Kingdom in 2009 and quickly developed a strong love for outdoor adventure. Step by step she removed the mental barriers holding her back which included fears of bears and discovered that she was capable of way more than she thought she could do.  For the past 8 years Lisa has been with Search and Rescue,  she leads weekly trail patrols, and is on the board of directors.  She is also certified with the Interpretive Guides Association. Her career in law enforcement lead to a Leadership award in 2014 and her aim now as a mind coach is to empower people to live happier and healthier lives.  Lisa’s passion for outdoor pursuits now includes hiking, backpacking and backcountry skiing, but her greatest passion is creating positive and life-changing experiences for people. Lisa’s enthusiasm and excitement to fully live life is contagious and she excels at creating a safe atmosphere to try new things.
